MLB Rumors: Detroit Tigers Linked to 2 Outfielders
The Detroit Tigers have had a fairly quiet offseason, but there are rumblings that they want to add an outfielder to their group. As a result. free agents A.J. Pollock and David Peralta are currently being linked to them.
Pollock spent this past season with the Chicago White Sox, where he had 14 home runs, 56 RBIs, and a .245 batting average. For his standards, it was a down year, but perhaps a move to Detroit could get the former All-Star back on track.
Peralta, on the other hand, split last season between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Tampa Bays, where he had 12 home runs and a .251 batting average. He would certainly provide a bit more pop to Detroit's group.
