MLB Rumors: Colorado Rockies Linked to Outfielder
According to Jim Bowden, Jurickson Profar is “a real possibility” for the Colorado Rockies.
Boden noted that the Rockies are looking to add a left-handed-hitting outfielder before the offseason is over. With several top free agents now signed, Profar is one of the best outfielders that is currently left on the market. As a result, several teams are now being linked to him, but if the Rockies have it their way, they will be the lucky team to win the sweepstakes.
Profar may not be a star player, but he is still a very solid outfielder. In 152 games this past season with the San Diego Padres, he had 15 home runs, 58 RBIs, and a .243 batting average. He also has hit 20 home runs in two seasons in his career, so we can provide a bit of pop while hitting at his best.
Alas, we will have to wait and see if the Rockies end up signing Profar before the start of the 2023 regular season.
