MLB Rumors: Colorado Rockies Linked to NY Yankees Infielder

Isiah Kiner-Falefa has been in the rumor mill all offseason, but at the time of this writing, he still has a home with the New York Yankees. Yet, there seems to be a real chance that this could change shortly, as the Colorado Rockies are reportedly one of the teams expressing interest in the infielder.

The Rockies are in a position to add to their roster, as they are desperately trying to become a playoff team again. Yet, it is apparent that their roster could use a boost in their infield, and Kiner-Falefa would surely provide just that if acquired. Although he is not a star, his versatility allows him to play several positions, and he can provide decent production at the plate in the process.

We will need to wait and see if the Rockies end up being the team that acquires him from here. On paper, there appears to be a match here, but time will tell if it does in fact come to fruition.
