MLB Rumors: Boston Red Sox Infielder Linked to Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are looking to add to their infield group before the start of the regular season. As a result, it is not surprising to hear that they are one of the teams currently linked to Boston Red Sox infielder Bobby Dalbec.

The Red Sox have been listening to offers for Dalbec this offseason, as they are aiming to change up their current group a bit. Dalbec struggled in 2022 significantly, so a change of scenery may be exactly what allows him to find his previous form. Joining a rebuilding club like the Diamondbacks could be the perfect opportunity for him to do just that.

We will need to wait and see if Arizona’s interest in Dalbec ends up leading them to acquire the slugger from here. On paper, there appears to be a very good fit here, but time will tell if it does in fact come to fruition.
