MLB Rumors: Baltimore Orioles Outfielder Becoming Trade Candidate

The Baltimore Orioles took a major step in the right direction this past season and are now aiming to build off of it in 2023. However, it is clear that they will need to add at least one high-impact starter if they want to be a wild card team next season. As a result, they are reportedly open to trading Anthony Santander if it results in them landing just that.

Santander was a big part of the Orioles' success this past season, as he had an impressive 33 home runs to go along with 89 RBIs in 152 games. However, when noting that he is inching closer to UFA eligibility, the Orioles could be wise to move him while his value is at its highest.

Nevertheless, we will need to wait and see if the Orioles do in fact end up trading Santander before the start of the regular season. Don't be surprised to see several teams make a push for the power hitter from here.
