It is not surprising to hear that these three teams are making a push to acquire Lopez, as they all can use a boost when it comes to their rotations. Lopez would provide them with just that, as he is a very effective starter while he is pitching at his best. With that, he is also under team control, so he would be more than just a rental if acquired.
