Minnesota Twins Sign Catcher

The Minnesota Twins have signed Austin Schell to a minor league contract.

With this move, the Twins have added to their depth as we inch closer to spring training. Schell completed his collegiate career with Cal State University, but now he is set to begin his professional career with the Twins organization.

Schell is a prospect who will need some time in the minor leagues before cracking the major league roster. It will be intriguing to see how the catcher performs this season in the Twins' system from here.
