Miami Marlins Add to Their Roster
The Miami Marlins have signed Garrett Hampson to a minor league contract.
Hampson appeared in 90 games for the Colorado Rockies last season. During them, he had two home runs, 15 RBIs, and a .211 batting average. Overall, it was a step in the wrong direction for him, as he had 11 home runs and a .234 batting average the year before for Colorado.
We will have to wait and see how Hampson performs as a Marlin from here. If he impresses at Spring Training, do not be surprised to see him make their MLB roster for the start of the year.
