Los Angeles Dodgers Sign Pitcher

The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a depth move, as they have signed Dylan Covey to a minor league contract. 

Covey last appeared in the majors during the 2020 season with the Boston Red Sox, where he had a 0-0 record to go along with a 7.07 ERA. Overall, it was not the best season for him, but now he will be aiming to redeem himself with the Dodgers in 2023.

With this move, the Dodgers have added a pitcher with MLB experience to their group. It will be intriguing to see if ends up impressing spring training and sneaking his way onto the Dodgers' Opening Day roster because of it. In 71 career games, he has a 6-29 record to go along with a 6.57 ERA.
