Los Angeles Angels Sign Pitcher

The Los Angeles Angels have signed Jake Kalish to a minor league contract. 

Kalish spent the 2022 season with Triple-A Salt Lake. In 23 games with the minor league squad, he had a 10-2 record to go along with a 2.87 ERA. Overall, it was a very solid year for him, and now he will be aiming to build off of it in 2023.

With the Angels not sporting the deepest of pitching depth, perhaps Kalish could sneak his way onto their Opening Day roster if he impresses at Spring Training. We will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
