Kansas City Royals Sign Pitcher

The Kansas City Royals have made a minor move, as they have signed Cody Poteet to a minor league contract. 

At this point of the offseason, teams around the league beef up their pitching depth as they gear up for spring training. By signing Poteet, they have done just that, and now he will be aiming to impress at spring training so it opens the door for him to make their major league roster.

Poteet spent this past season with the Miami Marlins, where he had a 0-1 record to go along with a 3.86 ERA in 12 appearances. Let's see if he has the chance to pitch for the Royals in 2023 from here.
