Chicago White Sox Sign Pitcher

The Chicago White Sox have signed Jesse Scholtens to a minor league contract. 

Scholtens spent this past season with Triple-A El Paso, where he had a 4-4 record to go along with a 4.10 ERA in 37 games. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for him, but now he will be aiming to be more consistent in Chicago from here.

With this move, the White Sox have added to their pitching depth, so there is no real harm in it.
