Boston Red Sox Sign Pitcher

The Boston Red Sox have made a minor move, as they have signed Ryan Sherriff to a minor league contract. 

Sherriff last appeared in the majors during the 2021 season with the Tampa Bay Rays. During that campaign, he had a 0-1 record to go along with a 5.52 ERA in 16 appearances. Overall, it was not the best year for him, but now he will be hoping for the chance to redeem himself with the Red Sox from here.

Overall, Boston has added a veteran pitcher to their depth, so at the end of the day, there's no real harm in this move. Let's see if he can make the major league roster out of spring training from here.
