Atlanta Braves Sign Pitcher

The Atlanta Braves have made a depth move, as they have signed Jon Olczak to a minor league contract.

Although Olczak is not a major splash, he will provide the Braves with another pitching option as they gear up for spring training. The righty spent this past season with Triple-A Sugar Land, where he had a 4-4 record to go along with a 4.66 ERA in 47 games. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for him, so he will be aiming to have a stronger year with the Braves organization in 2023.

If Olczak impresses in Triple-A, perhaps we could see him make his MLB debut with the Braves at some point during the year. Alas, we will need to wait and see what happens on that front from here.
