Atlanta Braves Sign Infielder
The Atlanta Braves have made a minor move, as they have signed Yolmer Sanchez to a minor league contract.
Sanchez will provide the Braves with another depth option for the Braves as they gear up for the regular season. The 30-year-old split this past season with the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets, where he had a .108 batting average in 17 games. Overall, it was a year to forget for him, but now he will be aiming for the chance to redeem himself with the Braves from here.
With this move, Atlanta has brought in a veteran who has a Gold Glove Award on his resume. We will need to wait and see if he can make their Opening Day roster from here.
