Arizona Diamondbacks Sign Pitcher

The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed Jandel Gustave to a minor league contract.

With this move, the Diamondbacks have added to their pitching depth as they gear up for spring training. Overall, it makes sense that they brought him in, as their bullpen is not particularly impressive right now, so he stands a very good shot of making their MLB roster. However, for that to occur, he will first need to impress during spring training.

Gustave spent the 2022 season with the Milwaukee Brewers, where he sported a 3.86 ERA in 27 appearances. Overall, he had some solid moments during the campaign, so it does not seem too out of the question for him to make the major league roster. Alas, time will tell on that front.
