Arizona Diamondbacks Sign Pitcher

The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed Connor Higgins to a minor league contract.

Higgins will provide the Diamondbacks with more pitching depth as they gear up for the regular season. The 6-foot-5 righty has yet to appear in a major league game over his career, but now he will be hoping to change that with the Diamondbacks from here. At a minimum, however, he will simply be a potential call-up option when injuries occur.

With Arizona being a rebuilding team, they are in a position to take a chance on a prospect like Higgins. We will need to wait and see how much of an impact he makes for the organization from here.
