10-Year Minor League Veteran Gets Shot With Toronto Blue Jays
After spending ten years in the minor leagues, outfielder Wynton Bernard finally made it to the major leagues this past August for a 12-game trial with the Colorado Rockies. Now, he'll get another shot to earn his way to the bigs, on a minor league deal with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Outfielder Wynton Bernard is in agreement on a minor-league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, source said. Bernard, who spent 10 seasons in the minors before making his MLB debut with the Rockies last season, gets an invite to spring training.

Bernard will get an invite to spring training with the Jays in Dunedin, Florida.
After toiling for a decade in the minor leagues, when the likeable outfielder finally got his call in August, this was the heartwarming call he made to break the news to his mom, that went viral:

It's a tremendous story for the speedy OF, who has always put up some nice numbers in the minors, averaging .289 in ten seasons with 224 stolen bases and a .774 OPS in over 800 games.
The 32 year old had a tremendous year at Triple-A in 2022, hitting .333 with a .387 on-base, a .977 OPS, 21 homers and 30 stolen bases in 108 games.
