Washington Nationals Bring Back Pitcher

The Washington Nationals have signed Tommy Romero to a minor league contract.

Romero spent this past season split between the Tampa Bay Rays and Nationals. In four games on the year, he had a 1-1 record to go along with a 10.80 ERA. Needless to say, it was not a particularly impressive way for him to start his major league career, but now he is getting another chance in DC regardless.

It will be intriguing to see if Romero can receive more time in the majors in 2023 and have more success in the process.
