Twins Sign First Baseman
Christmas came early for Cumberland Baseball All-American Nolan Machibroda as he signs a free agent deal with the Minnesota Twins! He is the 55th player in school history to sign professionally with an affiliated team! Congrats @NolanMachibroda!

Machibroda went undrafted last year out of Cumberland University, an NAIA school in Tennessee, and went on to play for the Weyburn Beavers of the Western Canadian League, an independent collegiate summer baseball league.
For his college career, the twenty-three-year-old slashed a strong .346/.460/.648, with 28 home runs, 131 RBIs, nine stolen bases and 92 runs scored across 116 games.
Machibroda, a Canadian native out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, will get a chance with the Twins in affiliated ball this season.
