St. Louis Cardinals Sign Pitcher

The St. Louis Cardinals have made a move, as they have signed Guillermo Zuniga to a minor league contract.

Zuniga spent this past season with Double-A Tulsa, where he put together a 4-4 record to go along with a 4.77 ERA in 48 relief appearances. Overall, the 6-foot-5 righty had some struggles in 2022, but now he will be hoping to change that with the Cardinals organization this campaign.

Zuniga will need some time in the minors before being ready for the majors, but he does have upside being just 24 years old. We will have to wait and see how he ends up performing in response to this change of scenery.
