San Diego Padres Sign Pitcher

The San Diego Padres have signed Aaron Brooks to a minor league contract. 

Brooks spent last season with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he had a 0-0 record to go along with a 7.71 ERA in five appearances. When called upon by the major league squad, he struggled, but now he will be hoping to change that with the Padres.

At worst, Brooks will serve as a decent call-up option for when injuries arise during the year. However, let's see if he can make the major league roster for Opening Day.
