San Diego Padres Sign 2 Pitchers
The San Diego Padres have signed Anderson Espinoza and Eric Hanhold to minor league contracts.
Espinoza appeared in his first seven MLB games this season with the Chicago Cubs, where he had a 0-2 record to go along with a 5.40 ERA. Overall, his first year in the majors came with mixed results, but now he will be aiming to find more consistency as a Padre from here.
Hanhold, on the other hand, last appeared in the majors during the 2021 season with the Baltimore Orioles. In 13 career MLB games, he has a 0-0 record to go along with a 7.11 ERA.
