Taylor joins his twin brother Tyler in the Giants 'pen with a 3-year, $33M contract.
Rogers (Taylor) has been a solid closer in recent years, notching 28 saves for the San Diego Padres last season before they dealt him in a trade deadline deal for Josh Hader. In 2021 he was an All-Star with the Minnesota Twins, and in 2019 he saved 30 games in the Twin Cities.
He has a 3.42 lifetime ERA with a 1.16 WHIP and 81 saves, striking out 10/6 batters per nine innings.
How joins Camilo Doval for an elite one-two punch at the back end of games for the Giants. And Tyler Rogers is no slouch, either, having posted a 2.94 ERA in four seasons in San Francisco as an elite set-up man.
Once a star in the Twin Cities, Taylor Rogers now teams up with his twin brother.
