Pittsburgh Pirates Sign Veteran Pitcher

The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed Rich Hill to a one-year, $8 million contract.

Hill spent this past season with the Boston Red Sox, where he appeared in 26 games. During them, he put together an 8-7 record to go along with a 4.27 ERA. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for the veteran, but now he will be aiming to be more consistent as a Pirate in 2023.
