Philadelphia Phillies Outright Pitcher

The Philadelphia Phillies have outrighted Tayler Scott to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. 

Scott was designated for assignment earlier this week, but it's now clear that no team decided to claim him off of waivers. As a result, he is now heading to Triple-A and will be aiming to earn himself a spot on the Phillies' 40-man roster again during Spring Training.

Scott was claimed off of waivers by the Phillies from the San Diego Padres, but he never appeared in a game for the former. In eight appearances last season with SD, he had a 0-1 record and 6.75 ERA.
