New Japanese Pitcher Joining MLB Free Agency
Another very intriguing Japanese pitcher joining major league free agency.
The Hanshin Tigers of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball have officially posted right-handed pitcher Shintaro Fujinami.
There were reports a few weeks, and even back in October, that the Hanshin Tigers were considering posting Fujinami, and now the rumors are true.

This past season, the twenty-eight-year-old posted a solid 2.77 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 115 strikeouts across 107 innings of work. Fujinami has a fastball that reaches up to 100 MPH, a slider and a splitter.
He's another very interesting name added to the free-agent pitching pool.
