It appears Seth Lugo could be making a decision on his future shortly. According to Jon Heyman, it appears that the sweepstakes have come a battle between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres.

It makes sense that both the Dodgers and Padres are going all-in on Lugo. They each are World Series contenders, and they could use a pitcher like Lugo - whether they utilize him as a starter or reliever.

Lugo appeared in 62 games this past season with the New York Mets, where he had a 3-2 record to go along with a 3.60 ERA. It will be intriguing to see where he ends up signing from here, but if Heyman's report is true, it seems like it will be one of these two California clubs.
