MLB Rumors: Seattle Mariners to Shop Pitcher
The Seattle Mariners have a surplus of starting pitchers, and they could look to move on to improve their roster elsewhere. As a result, Chris Flexen is becoming a prime trade candidate.
Flexen is under team control until the end of the 2026 season, so his trade value is at its highest. Furthermore, a market for his services would also be at its biggest, as rebuilding teams and contenders would both be interested in the 6-foot-3 righty. As a result, the Mariners could get a nice return for the 28-year-old.
In 33 games (22 starts) this past season with Seattle, Flexen had an 8-9 record to go along with a 3.73 ERA.
