According to Jon Heyman, the San Francisco Giants made a big push for Koudai Senga before he opted to sign with the New York Mets.

The Giants have had a rough offseason. Although they have made pushes for multiple big-name players (Aaron Judge, Brandon Nimmo, and Senga), they have, unfortunately, not been able to bring them in. Now, Senga is the latest player they missed out on. However, don't expect them to stop trying to bring in talent from here.

The Giants are likely to add another starter and outfielder to their roster before the offseason is over at least. However, they also have been linked heavily to Carlos Correa, so let's see if they can successfully make their big splash with him.
