MLB Rumors: New York Mets Infielder to be Traded

With the New York Mets bringing in Carlos Correa, they are expected to trade Eduardo Escobar, as his placement on their depth chart has fallen.

Escobar could surely get some attention on the trade market, as he is coming off of a decent 2022 season. In 136 games, he had 20 home runs, 69 RBIs, and a .240 batting average. While playing at his best, he provides decent pop, so expect a market to form for his services shortly.

We will have to wait and see what happens with Escobar from here, but it is clear that he has become one of New York's primary trade candidates.
