Now that we are beginning to see plenty of free-agent pitchers signing with new teams, the trade market will certainly start to heat up. Things are happening on that front when it comes to Miami Marlins pitcher Pablo Lopez, as interest in his services ariskyrocketing.

Teams that missed out on pitchers like Justin Verlander, Koudai Senga, and Jacob deGrom are now considering Lopez as their next option. Ultimately, it makes sense, as the 6-foot-4 righty is still under team control and has upside to boot.

In 32 games this past season with the Marlins, Bassitt sported a 10-10 record to go along with a 3.75 ERA. Let's see where he ends up going from here.
