MLB Rumors: Diamondbacks Have 5 Suitors For Their OF Trade Candidates
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, there are five teams in the bidding.
Toronto Blue Jays
The Jays' need for a lefty bat in the outfield is almost legendary by this point. They've needed to add that element to their lineup for a couple of years now, and while they've tried some lower-end options, like Raimel Tapia and Jackie Bradley Jr., they're hoping to find somewhat of a more promising bat for the job.
New York Yankees
Left field has been a problem for the Yankees, with the struggles of Aaron Hicks being the most glaring of all. They're in the market. Although their own free agent, Andrew Benintendi, is at the top of their list, the D-Backs trio is something they're looking it.
Texas Rangers
After all their spending the past two years on infielders and pitchers, they're still looking for help in the outfield. Perhaps they'll look at the trade route.
Tampa Bay Rays and Florida Marlins
With the free agent market an unlikely source for an impact bat for the Florida teams, the trade market is the way to go. They'll both try to interest Arizona in a deal.
The Snakes are looking for major league-ready talent in return.
