MLB Rumors: Cleveland Guardians to Shop Infielder

Amed Rosaro is one year away from becoming a UFA, and the Cleveland Guardians have a big decision to make. If the 27-year-old infielder is not open to an extension, they will likely trade him instead of running the risk of losing him for nothing through free agency next offseason.

Rosario just had a very solid 2022 season that saw him have a league-leading nine triples, 11 home runs, 71 RBIs, and a .283 batting average. He also made an impact on the basepaths, as he had a solid 18 stolen bases. After a season like this, there's no question that teams around the league would love to get their hands on the six-year veteran.

As more free-agent shortstops find new homes, expect to see Rosario's market continue to grow. The Guardians have a big decision to make with him, so we will have to wait and see what they do from here.
