MLB Rumors: Carlos Correa to NY Mets Not Guaranteed

After another problem with his physical, Carlos Correa has been working with the New York Mets to get his megadeal finalized. Yet, with other teams calling, Correa being a Met may not be a slam dunk. According to Jon Heyman, a source told the New York Post that it's "55/45" that the Mets will successfully land him.

The Correa saga has been a very strange one this offseason. The star shortstop of course failed a physical with the San Francisco Giants and signed with the Mets shortly after. Yet, if Heyman's source is accurate, there's almost a 50% chance that we could see Correa sign with another team AGAIN.

Nevertheless, this is something to keep an eye on over the next few days.
