MLB Rumors: Boston Red Sox Make Infielder Available
Dalbec needs a trade. Somewhere where he can play third base, where he's much better than at first.

With the right team he hits 25-30 HRs and a bunch of doubles. Lots of Ks, sure. But you live with that. Change of scenery would do him wonders. https://t.co/JR7jPVRfPP
Tampa Bay is a team with a need for a first baseman, and have already expressed interest in the 27-year-old.
Dalbec has untapped power potential, and he gave them a taste of it in 2021, blasting 25 round-trippers, while driving in 78 and posting a .792 OPS. But he regressed this past season, as he hit .215 with a .652 OPS.
His career marks of .232 with a .754 OPS have left the Sox looking for other solutions at first base, and they even brought in the offensively-challenged Eric Hosmer at the trade deadline.
As noted by Boston Globe reporter Pete Abraham, perhaps a change of scenery can help Dalbec unlock his potential.
