MLB Rumors: Boston Red Sox Linked to Veteran Infielder
After losing J.D. Martinez to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Boston Red Sox desperately need to add to their roster. After all, they already lost star shortstop Xander Bogaerts, too. As a result, MLB insider Jon Heyman speculated that the Red Sox could look to add Justin Turner to their roster.
Turner is one of the top free agents still on the market. With several big-name free agents now finding new homes, interest in Turner's services is starting to skyrocket. Therefore, if Boston wants to be the lucky team to land him, Chaim Bloom will have to make him an acceptable offer.
In 128 games this past season with LA, Turner had 13 home runs, 81 RBIs, and a .278 batting average. Let's see if the BoSox end up landing the veteran from here.
