MLB Rumors: Arizona Diamondbacks Linked to 3 Relievers

The Arizona Diamondbacks are looking to add to their bullpen. As a result, they are currently linked to free-agent relievers Andrew Chafin, Michael Fulmer, and Will Smith.

Chafin spent this past season with the Detroit Tigers, where he had a 2-3 record to go along with a 2.83 ERA in 64 games. Overall, it was another very good season from the veteran reliever. As a result, it makes sense that Arizona is interested in a reunion with him.

Fulmer split last season between the Tigers and Minnesota Twins. In 67 games, he had a 5-6 record and 3.39 ERA. Overall, he is a solid reliever who certainly could provide Arizona with more stability in their bullpen.

Smith spent time with the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros last season, where he had a 0-3 record and 3.97 ERA in 65 games. He performed well with the Astros down the stretch (3.27 ERA in 24 games).
