MLB Rumors: 5 Teams Linked To Michael Conforto
There are now five teams being noted by MLB Insiders who are "in" on Conforto. His agent, Scott Boras, recently said he'd be looking for a short multi-year contract with an opt-out after 2023, where he has a chance to re-establish his value.
Michael Conforto is seeking a short-term contract of "probably a couple years with an opt-out," according to his agent Scott Boras, after missing all of this season with a shoulder injury.

Conforto is "back to full health," per Boras, and talking to "a number of teams."
Conforto missed the entire 2022 season with a shoulder injury, and had a poor 2021 walk year with the New York Mets.
Here are the five teams in the hunt:
Miami Marlins
Jon Heyman of the New York Post has noted the Marlins interest. And surely, they're in desperate need of offense from wherever they can find it, at nearly every position around the diamond. The Fish finished 28th in slugging in 2022.
Chicago Cubs
Another team looking for offense, and plenty of it. They're also in on Dansby Swanson, and others.
Texas Rangers
They've already made some big splashes on the free agent market, but are still looking for a corner outfielder.
Houston Astros
The team is still in the market for an outfielder, though they're also looking at trades, as well as their own free agent, Michael Brantley.
New York Mets
The incumbents (sort of) are considering bringing Conforto back. No team knows the kind of impact he can have, if healthy and at the top of his game.
