MLB Rumors: 4 Teams Listed As Top Suitors For Jameson Taillon
The Jameson Taillon market is deep, but sources tab the Mets, Phillies, Cubs and Orioles among the teams to watch.

MLB.com's Mark Feinsand says the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and Baltimore Orioles are "the teams to watch".
The Yankees decided not to give Taillon the Qualifying Offer of $19.65M, which, in hindsight, looks like a mistake. It appears he'll be able to procure a multi-year contract far in excess of that.
The New York Mets, according to Andy Martino of SNY, seemed to be on the verge of signing Taillon within the last few days, but to no avail.
UPDATE: According to @martinonyc, the #Mets tried to close a deal with Jameson Taillon over last few days but were unsuccessful.

Martino notes that he wouldn’t be surprised if Taillon signs elsewhere. #LGM
The Phillies, Cubs and Orioles have all made starting pitching one of their priorities this winter—and all are expected to spend some significant cash—so it's no surprise to see their names at the top of the list.
Taillon had a solid second season with the Yankees in 2022, posting a 3.91 ERA and 1.13 WHIP, with a 151:32 K/BB ratio. He owns career marks of a 3.84 ERA and 1.21 WHIP.
