MLB Rumors: 3 Frontrunners Emerge in Carlos Correa Sweepstakes
According to Jon Heyman, the San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins, and Chicago Cubs are all currently bidding for Carlos Correa's services.
Correa is the top free agent still left for the taking, so we should see offers start to increase. At this juncture, these three clubs appear to be the frontrunners. There's no question that they each could use him, so we will have to wait and see if their offers start to increase because of it.
Correa is coming off of a solid 2022 season that saw him have 22 home runs, 64 RBIs, and a .291 batting average. This kind of season with lead to the 28-year-old to land himself an excellent contract, so we will have to wait and see if one of these clubs can successfully bring in the All-Star shortstop from here.
