MLB Rumors: 3 Frontrunners Emerge in Seth Lugo Sweepstakes
The Seth Lugo market is continuing to heat up. According to Jon Heyman, the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and Washington Nationals are making major pushes to sign the veteran.
It has been reported that teams are open to the prospect of allowing Lugo to be a starter again. Lugo has not been a full-time starter since the 2017 season, but given his strong stuff over the last few years, it makes sense that some clubs are cool with the idea of having him get some rotation time.
Lugo appeared in 62 games with the New York Mets last season, where he sported a 3-2 record to go along with a 3.60 ERA. We will have to wait and see which one these three clubs end up landing the veteran from here.
