Minnesota Twins Sign Pitcher
The Minnesota Twins have signed Carlos Luna to a minor league deal.
Luna spent this past season with Double-A Biloxi, where he had a 5-6 record to go along with a 5.35 ERA. Overall, it was not a very good season for the 6-foot-1 righty, but he will be aiming to change that with the Twins organization from here.
With this move, the Twins have added to their pitching depth. It will be intriguing to see if Luna can take that next step in his development from here. If he impresses in the minors as the year goes on, it could be enough for him to even have his contract selected to Minnesota's 40-man roster. Time will tell what happens on that front.
