Kansas City Royals to Sign Pitcher

According to Jon Heyman, the Kansas City Royals are nearing an agreement with free-agent pitcher Jordan Lyles. 

The Royals have had a quiet offseason, but now it appears that they are ready to do some spending. Although Lyles is not the biggest of splashes, he is a decent pitcher who should provide their rotation with a bit of a boost.

In 32 games last season, Lyles put together a 12-11 record to go along with a 4.42 ERA. Let's see how he responds to this kind of season as a Royal from here.
