Kansas City Royals Bring Back Infielder

The Kansas City Royals have re-signed Adalberto Mondesi to a one-year, $3.045 million contract. 

Mondesi has made appearances over each of the last seven seasons with the Royals, but now he is set to change that to eight years. It seemed possible that his time in Kansas City would be over, but alas, things have changed dramatically on that front with this recent signing.

Mondesi appeared in just 15 games for the Royals last season, where he had zero home runs, three RBIs, and a .140 batting average. It was a rather rough year for the infielder, but now he will be aiming to bounce back with them in 2023 from here.
