Guardians Sign Pitcher
Excited to announce that @caleb_baragar, who elected free agency earlier this offseason, will be signing with the @CleGuardians on a minor league deal with a non-roster invite to Spring Training! pic.twitter.com/Vb8UV4msWa

Baragar will look to make the Guardians' Opening Day bullpen during spring training after spending all of last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks Triple-A affiliate.
For his major league career, the twenty-eight-year-old holds a strong 2.78 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts over 45.1 innings of work with the San Francisco Giants.
The Guardians have a history of turning unknown players into household names, so it will be interesting to see if they can do that with Baragar.
