Free Agent Starter's Market ''Gaining Steam''

He's impressed teams this offseason.

According to Mark Feinsaind of MLB.com, free agent right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon's market is gaining steam.

According to Feinsand, Taillon is expected to command a multi-year deal more than the four-year, $56 million deal that starter Jon Gray got from the Texas Rangers last offseason.

This past season, Taillon posted a 3.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 151 strikeouts over 177.1 innings of work with the New York Yankees. The 32 starts he made last season tied a career-high for the thirty-one-year-old.

Taillon is considered one of the best free agent starters on the market this offseason, behind coveted aces like Jacob deGrom, Justin Verlander, Carlos Rodon and, now, Kodai Senga.
