Detroit Tigers Claim Catcher Off Waivers

Detroit Tigers have claimed Mario Feliciano off of waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.

Feliciano played in two games this past season with the Brewers, where he went 1-for-4 at the plate. Overall, the sample size was too small to cast any real judgment on his play, but now he will be hoping to receive more chances as a Tiger from here.

The Tigers are weak at the catcher position right now, so it could open the door to Feliciano making their MLB roster at the start of the season. Alas, time will tell on that front.
