Colorado Rockies Sign Pitcher

The Colorado Rockies have signed Matt Carasiti to a minor league contract. 

Carasiti spent this past season with Triple-A Sacramento, where he put together a 3-2 record to go along with a rough 8.31 ERA in 23 games. Needless to say, the 6-foot-2 righty struggled mightily this past season, but now he will be hoping to bounce back in 2023 with the Rockies organization.

Following signing this deal, Carasiti was assigned to Triple-A Albuquerque. If he impresses with the minor league squad this season, perhaps we will see him receive a call-up at some point during the year.
