Boston Red Sox Sign Veteran Pitcher
The Boston Red Sox have signed Corey Kluber to a one-year, $10 million contract. The contract also comes with an $11 million club option for the 2024 season.
The Red Sox were linked to Kluber over the last few days, and now a deal has come to fruition. With this signing, Boston has added a veteran arm to their rotation. With that, it does not hurt that he is a two-time Cy Young Award winner and three-time All-Star.
Kluber spent this past season with the Tampa Bay Rays, where he had a 10-10 record to go along with a 4.34 ERA in 31 games. Overall, it was a down year for the veteran, but let's see if he can have a bounce-back year in Beantown from here.
